Eugene Killoran

Eugene Killoran is a scout for Libero Sports in Japan.

Eugene brings a unique background to Libero Sports. Born in Dublin, raised in Tokyo, he has been part of the Japanese football scene from a young age. He started with one of the top youth clubs in Japan, Mitsubishi Yowa, as a center-back and center-midfielder. Eugene signed a contract at 18 with Japan's oldest professional club, Tokyo Verdy 1969. Tokyo Verdy finished 2007 as runners up in the J. League 2nd Division, winning promotion to the J. League's top flight.

In 2008 Eugene made a decision to retire from top flight football to attend university in Japan. He is fluent in Japanese & English.
