Raunak Bala
With specific competencies in sports sponsorships and sales strategy acquired from operating in established sports marketing organizations, Raunak currently drives business development and brand marketing for Libero Sports India. Raunak’s core strengths lie in exploring commercial opportunities for Libero’s existing as well as new businesses. Creating relevant platforms to leverage Libero’s objectives also form an integral part of his current role. Hailing from Bombay, Raunak adds to the varied intellectual knowledge base at Libero Sports
Before joining Libero Sports India, Raunak was part of the Sponsorships team at the XIX Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010 with a focussed sponsorship sales and sales support function. Prior to the Games, Raunak spent his formative professional years in the Sports Marketing team at Percept D’Mark gaining valuable experience working on some interesting brand accounts across different sports of Formula one, cricket and football.
Passing out of Mumbai University with Commerce Hons., Raunak’s passion for sport, having played at different representative levels, led to the logical step of him taking up a Master’s Degree in Sport Management form Griffith University, Australia.
A Barcelona fanatic, Raunak is always the first on and the last off the football field. When he is not playing, he likes spending time with his family, reading and travelling.
