Shimon Katou

Shimon was born and raised in the Chiba Prefecture of Japan, one of the most reknowned places in Japan for football. He was brought up in J-League’s Chiba JEF United youth academy before moving to Sendai Ikue for high school. There Shimon played in numerous National Championships, reaching the Semi Finals of the National Tournament in his Junior year. During his time at Sendai Ikue he represented the Tohoku Prefecture twice and was also chosen to train with the Brazilian U17 National Team while they stayed and played in Japan.

Shimon played briefly at University before ending his career to pursue other ambitions. He is currently an active scout for Libero Sports in Japan combining his unique background and connections in football with a keen eye for talent.
